Product Description: Vistamaxx 6202FL propylene-based elastomer is an olefinic elastomer primarily composed of isostatic propylene repeat units with random ethylene distribution, and is produced using ExxonMobil Chemical's EXXPOL™ Catalyst Technology. The "FL" designates this product passes ExxonMobil Chemical's test for film appearance with regard to gels, as needed for performance film applications ('A' rating). Key Features: - Suitable for a wide range of cast film, extrusion coating, extrusion lamination and injection molding applications.
- Very good elasticity, flexibility and toughness.
- Compatible with a broad range array of materials and particularly good for polyolefinic and thermoplastic blends, including with styrenic block copolymers
- Excellent adhesion to conventional and metallocene PP and PE, and to various polyolefinic substrates (film, woven and nonwoven).
- Very low seal initiation temperature combined with high seal strength when used as an extrusion coating or laminating layer.
- High peel forces when used as adhesive layer of co-extruded surface protection films and masking tapes.
- Very effective at increasing to coefficient of friction of PE or PP blends.
- Good chemical resistance to aqueous systems and non-hydrocarbon based fluids.
- May be used in food contact applications (with some restrictions).
- EU and China RoHS compliant.
