Westlake EPOLENE® C-12 Low Molecular Weight Polyethylene

Material Notes: EPOLENE® C-12 is a branched low density polyethylene homopolymer with low color and medium molecular weight. It is useful as a base polymer for adhesives and coatings, color concentrate dispersions, and to provide lubricity in rubber compounding. Coatings produced with EPOLENE® C-12 polymer exhibit high gloss, low moisture vapor transmission rates, grease resistance, and good heat seal ability. Applications: Automotive carpet backing, Hot melt adhesives, Packaging, Compounding, Wax modification. Attributes: Enhances paraffin wax coating properties like gloss, grease resistance, and MVTR. Excellent thermal stability. Low color. Medium molecular weight. Useful in color concentrates.

All tests are run at 23°C (73°F) and 50% relative humidity.
