Plastcom SLOVASTER® B GF 20 Polybutylene Terephthalate, 20% Glass Fiber  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyester, TP; Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT); Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT), 20% Glass Fiber Filled

Material Notes: Features

PBT for injection moulding, chemically reinforced with 20% glass fiber. Characterized by excellent properties also at low temperatures like tensile and flexural modulus, tensile strength, and toughness. Does not absorb water, which means that identical properties are maintained also in wet environments. Melt is characterized by very good rheology, which enables the manufacturing of extremely multiple products with complicated downflow-path. Anisotropy of shrinkage is much better in comparison with PA, which influences the manufacturing of round, cylindrical or other hole products. Application in the automotive, electrical and engineering industry - connectors of cable harnesses, car-door locks, connection links, grips etc. Delivered in natural and in the full RAL color scale.

Application: Injection Moulding
