Dow SE SLR-4610 H Solution polymerized Styrene Butadiene Rubber (S-SBR)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Rubber or Thermoset Elastomer (TSE)

Material Notes: SE SLR-4610 H is manufactured by anionic solution polymerization using lithium initiator and is extended with 37.5 parts of aromatic oil in relation to solid rubber. It is a product with medium styrene and high vinyl content. The product is partially Sn-coupled and non-staining stabilized. SE SLR-4610 H is widely used in the tire industry for the manufacture of high performance tires providing excellent balance between rolling resistance, wet grip, and abrasion resistance. It is supplied in bales weighing 25 kg. Bales are wrapped in 50 micron PE film. At mixing temperatures above 110°C, the rubber can be processed with the packaging film.
