Material Notes:

Structure: Flexiso® DMD, FI 14010 00360 is a flexible three layer material, consisting of a layer of polyester film, of which both sides have a layer of polyester fleece fabric and is coated with an impregnated high temperature resin.

Characteristics: Flexiso® DMD, FI 14010 00360 is characterised by very good electrical and mechanical properties, as well as low moisture absorbtion and good chemical resistance. The smooth surface allows the material to be processed on automatic feeding machines and demonstrates very good adhesion properties to impregnating and trickle. Flexiso® DMD, FI 14010 00360 is used for applications in the Insulation Class F (155 °C).

Application: Flexiso® DMD, FI 14010 00360 is used, for example, in the manufacture of electric motors as slot and phase insulations, slot wedges and spacers and in the manufacture of transformers as layer insulation as well as insulating layers in various electrical devices.

Delivery Form: Flexiso® DMD, FI 14010 00360 is delivered in rolls (max. width 1260 mm) and tapes (from 10 mm width). Other formats include, blanks, stamped or moulded parts in accordance with customer requirements and with self adhesive.

Storage Conditions: Flexiso® DMD, FI 14010 00360 is storable for an unlimited period under normal conditions (20 °C, 50% RH). The material should be protected from damp, lack of moisture, direct sunlight and UV radiation exposure as well as any protected heat effects.
