Envalior Arnitel® ID 2045 Copolyester, >50% Renewable Content, 3D Printing Grade
Categories: Polymer; 3D Printing/Additive Manufacturing Polymer; Renewable/Recycled Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyester, TP

Material Notes: This is a filament grade - not available for sale as granules.

Arnitel® ID 2045 is a highly flexible TPC (thermoplastic copolyester) that can be used in a broad range of applications from sports mouth guards to electronics. It is a flexible polymer with very good UV- and chemical-resistance compared to other flexible polymers such as TPU (thermoplastic urethane).

Arnitel® ID 2045 is an ECO label filament made with 50% bio-based feedstock which passes USP class IV, ISO 10993-10 Irritation / Intracutaneous reactivity as well as ISO 10993-5 Cytotoxicity tests. It combines easy and fast printing with high performance characteristics enabled by excellent inter-layer adhesion due to its slower crystallization behavior.

The mechanical data is tested on printed tensile bars, printed in two directions: 0°-90° and 45°-45°

The material passed the ISO irritation, ISO cytotoxicity and the USP VI tests.

Sustainability: Bio-based - 14C measurable

Special features: Contains renewable content

Processing technology: 3D printing

Former DSM Engineering Plastics product line is now with Envalior.
