Northstar Polymers MPP-W43C Polyurethane Gel
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Polyurethane, TS; Thermoset Polyurethane, Elastomer, Unreinforced

Material Notes: MPP-W43C is a polyurethane gel formulation specifically designed for padding and cushioning applications that require Shore Durometer OOO scale hardness materials. With this material, a user can obtain good rebound characteristics and gradual compression deflection rates at the Shore OOO hardness range. The material does not contain any plasticizer, which is known to leach out to have adverse effect to the plastic film encapsulation materials used in conjunction with gel materials.

This formula uses the same part-B (PNA-157) as standard Shore OO polyurethane gel. This allows you to make variety products with fewer raw material inventories. The applications for this material include cushioning and padding parts for medical/semi-medical application, fiber optic cable encapsulation, novelty products, and many more.

This polyurethane gel material is formulated in such a way that the user can control/choose the hardness/deflection properties of the product.
