Material Notes: Coating Description: SHS 7270 PTAW is an iron based steel alloy with a near nanoscale (submicron) microstructure that features high impact resistance and toughness with minimal cracking/cross checking. SHS 7270 PTAW is an alternative to cobalt alloys and can be used as a good matrix material for tungsten carbide blended materials.
