Saint-Gobain CHR® 2302-10R UHMW Film Backing Acrylic Adhesive Pressure Sensitive Tape
Categories: Polymer; Adhesive; Tape; Thermoplastic; Acrylic (PMMA)

Material Notes: CHR® 2302 is manufactured from UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) polyolefin film coated with acrylic adhesive.

Features/Benefits: CHR® 2302 exhibits excellent abrasion resistance and a low coefficient of friction, making it an excellent protection for surfaces or bearings that experience heavy wear. It is more economical than PTFE tapes. The high-temperature, high-tack acrylic adhesive adheres readily to most dry, clean surfaces, firmly anchoring the product in place.

Applications: CHR® 2302 can be used to provide an abrasion-resistant, anti-stick, anti-friction surface at temperatures up to 107 °C. It is frequently used to line chutes and conveyors. The product is often applied to guide rails to reduce noise levels in glass bottling plants. This tape is also used to replace desk drawer bearings, and to provide silky smooth, friction free drawer movement.
