Butyl coated polyester fabric combines the following properties: BUTYL rubber is an interesting option for applications in extreme temperatures. It has an excellent behaviour at cold temperatures (up to -60°C). It keeps a good resistance to acids, ketones and oils. Polyester is a synthetic fiber that ranks first in the world in terms of production. It is a linear polymer whose mass includes a majority (80% minimum) of ester functions and terephthalic acid. Polyester yarn is light and flexible. It is resistant to ultraviolet radiation. Polyester fabric is hardly inflammable. It softens around 245°C, and melts around 250°C. It retains a good shape memory and can therefore be used in the composition of crease-resistant fabrics. In addition, an adequate weaving also allows a good evacuation of heat. Our design office is at your disposal to define your butyl coated polyester fabric. Applications: Properties: - Acids resistance
