Westlake Mxsite LC78104 Polyethylene  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyethylene (PE)

Material Notes: Mxsite LC78104 polyethylene is recommended for the skin layers of cast stretch film. It will provide a very aggressive cling force in both a stretched and unstretched condition. The excellent cling force is achieved without any substantial increase in film unwind force. It is designed for machine wrap and hand wrap applications where good processability, low gel content and substantial cling are needed. It can be used as cling layer in many "one-sided cling" films because it clings very well to many non-cling resins.

    Application/Uses
  • Cast film
  • Films
  • Stretch film

FDA: This material complies with FDA regulations in 21 CFR, section 177.1520.
