ChevronTexaco Capella® HFC Auto
Categories: Fluid; Lubricant

Material Notes: Texaco Capella HFC Auto delivers value through:
  • Long service life and cleaner systems — Provides chemical and thermal stability.
  • High miscibility with R-134a — Allows ready lubricant flow in low temperature portions of the system.
  • Component wear protection — Provides excellent wear protection, particularly in bearing area
  • Suitable for retrofitting — compatible with minerals oils
  • Clean systems even under severe operation — Due to high solvency and thermal stability

Texaco Capella HFC Auto is a synthetic polyol ester based lubricant for automotive air conditioners.

Natural lubricity, combined with a special additive package, provides excellent wear protection.

It is miscible with refrigerant R-134a.

Texaco Capella HFC Auto is recommended for use:

  • in automotive air conditioners using hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerant, HFC-13a (R-134a)
  • in industrial applications with positive displacement or dynamic compressors that require a lubricant with a viscosity of 130 cSt at 40°C
  • with chlorinated refrigerants, including R-12, R-22 and R-502

Typical test data are average values only. Minor variations which do not affect product performance are to be expected in normal manufacturing.
