ChevronTexaco ISO 460 Cylinder Oil
Categories: Fluid; Lubricant

Material Notes: Chevron Cylinder Oil is a steam cylinder oil.

Chevron Cylinder Oil is designed to meet the needs of nonemulsifying cylinder oils. Chevron Cylinder Oils has excellent demulsifying characteristics required in steam systems where the oil is recirculated.

Applications

Chevron Cylinder Oil is recommended where complete demulsibility is required. This is especially important where exhaust steam is returned to the boiler. Good demulsibility assures efficient equipment operation by reducing the risks of contamination, thereby preventing boiler tube fouling and improving heat transfer efficiency.
