KKPC KOSYN KBR 31 Polybutadiene Rubber (High cis BR)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Rubber or Thermoset Elastomer (TSE)

Material Notes: Polybutadiene Rubber (High cis BR)

Characteristics: KBR 31 contains an aromatic oil additive. Polybutadiene Rubber (BR), which has three kinds of bond structure of cis-1,4, trans-1,4, vinyl, is simple polymer made from 1,3-butadiene by solution polymerization, and it is classified to High cis BR and Low cis BR according to the cis-1,4 content. High cis BR containing over 94% cis-1,4 is superior in abrasion resistance, elasticity, age resistance and water resistance. As the secondary transition temperature is about -100? low, it is most widely utilized together with SBR.

Applications: Conveyor belting, tires (superior for snow tire tread).

Additional Notes:
Extender Oil: 37.5; Aromatic
Stabilizer: Non-Polluting
cis-1,4 Contents: 95%
Volatile Matter: 0.3%
Ash Content: 0.1%
