Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Silicone; Silicone Rubber; Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR)

Material Notes: ELASTOSIL® R 407/80 Silicone Rubber Bases are noted for their high transparency and good mechanical properties. Intermediate hardnesses can be achieved by blending these bases in the required proportion. Due to the high green strength of these products, they can be used to make complex extruded profiles. Their vulcanizing characteristics make it possible to achieve short cycle times in the production of rubber moldings by compression, transfer and injection molding. Post cured vulcanizates can be used for applications in the health care and food handling industries.
