Dow INSPIRE™ 404 Performance Polymer  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polypropylene (PP)

Material Notes: INSPIRE 404 Performance Polymer is a propylene-based resin intended for use in thermoforming applications where exceptional stiffness, clarity and heat resistance is desired. The high stiffness of the resin may allow for the potential to down gauge and reduce part weight. The product is well suited for thin wall containers, serviceware and closure applications such as clear drink cups, deli containers, take-out containers, bowls and clear lids. It contains a nucleating agent, it is an excellent balance of stiffness and clarity, it has superior heat resistance over conventional polypropylene, and it complies with U.S. FDA 21 CFR 177.1520(c)3.2a (with Restrictions)
