Material Notes: ® Vinnolit PA 5470/5 PVC for paste application. Vinnolit® PA 5470/5 is a fine-particle, paste-making emulsion copolymer of vinyl chloride and 3 % vinyl acetate giving medium-viscosity plastisols with slightly pseudo-plastic flow properties. Vinnolit® PA 5470/5 can be processed at lower gelling temperatures than homopolymers. Vinnolit® PA 5470/5 is a low temperature gelling, medium-viscosity paste grade, recommended for coating heat-sensitive base fabrics, laminating pastes, carpet backings as well as automotive underbody and seam sealants. The product is suitable for the manufacture of mechanically frothed foam containing silicone based foaming aids.
