Dow Elvaloy® 2116 AC Ethylene and 16% Ethyl Acrylate Copolymer
Categories: Polymer; Film; Thermoplastic

Material Notes: Elvaloy® 2116 AC is intended for profile and tube extrusion. Its good chemical resistance, low temperature toughness and good flex life make it outstanding for specialty tubing. The material also is recommended for contour extrusion and for blow molding of toys, gaskets and other parts requiring permanent flexibility, stress cracking resistance and low temperature toughness. Elvaloy® 2116 AC also can be used in film applications where softness and flexibility are needed.

Elvaloy® 2116 AC is easily processed on standard equipment used for low density polyethylene. It is very heat stable and does not give corrosive decomposition products during processing, even at the upper limit of the recommended temperature range.
