BYK ADD-VANCE® CL 622 Nucleation masterbatch, PP based  (discontinued **)
Categories: Other Engineering Material; Additive/Filler for Polymer; Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polypropylene (PP)

Material Notes: Fields of application: Injection molded, extruded and thermoformed articles made from PP resins.
Examples: Injection molded, extruded and thermoformed articles made from PP resins.

Mode of action and advantages: ADD-VANCE® CL 622 contains a very effective clarifier. Glass clear PP is now also possible for thicker products and not only for highly oriented films. Clarifiers increase the rate of crystallization and the number of spherulites in the polymer as well as creates smaller and better distributed spherulites. The product is completely soluble in PP resins, no solids present in the melt. An increased number of very small spherulites in the polymer not only improves the clarity but also improves the stiffness and heat deflection temperature.

Advantages: Superior clarity in PP film; Improved product isotropy provides low warpage; Superior balance of mechanical and physical properties; Chemical and Thermal Resistance; Enhanced aesthetics; Hot fill and retort capable; Non-sticking pellets, dust free dosing; and Safe and easy handling.

Regulations: ADD-VANCE® CL 622 is suitable for food contact applications.
