Chemours Viton® GBLT-600S Fluoroelastomer Compound
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Fluoropolymer, TS; Thermoset Fluoroelastomer; Rubber or Thermoset Elastomer (TSE)

Material Notes:
  • GBLT-600S is an alternative to GLT and GFLT for fuel seals and fuel injector O-rings
  • Good fuel, methanol, and fluids resistance, improved vs. GLT
  • Low temperature Tg, TR-10, and sealing improved vs. Viton® GFLT
  • Heat resistance comparable to Viton® GLT-600S and GFLT-600S Good mold release / mold fouling properties
  • Good physical properties with high elongation, both original and aged
  • Good water and steam resistance / low volume swell in water
  • Excellent compression set resistance with either low or no postcure F169

Chemours was formed from former DuPont performance chemicals businesses, including the Viton product line, in 2015.
