Covestro Desmodur® BL 4265 SN Polyurethane

Material Notes: Blocked, aliphatic polyisocyanate based on IPDI. In combination with polyol components to formulate lightfast one-component stoving coatings.

Applications: Desmodur® BL 4265 SN can be combined with suitable, preferably flexible, Desmophen® grades to formulate one-component polyurethane stoving coatings which are lightfast, weather-stable and resistant to chemicals. These are used for high-grade industrial finishing and coil coating. The stoving temperature can be significantly decreased by the addition of a catalyst, e.g. dibutyltin dilaurate (DBTL), without reducing the storage stability. Desmodur® BL 4265 SN can also be used as an additive in conventional stoving systems to improve their hardness, weather stability and resistance to chemicals.
