| CHR® 2915 and 2916 are manufactured from heat-resistant fibreglass cloth backing coated with high-temperature silicone adhesive. Features/Benefits: CHR® 2915 and 2916 are exceptionally strong abrasion-resistant tapes providing maximum solvent resistance. They have excellent temperature resistance and are thermally stable. They can be used in applications that require continuous temperatures of up to 260 °C and its abrasion resistance makes them extremely durable products. 2915-7 meets MIL-I-19166C U.S. Government specifications. Applications: CHR® 2915 and 2916 are very versatile tapes. Applications range from general industry electrical maintenance to high-temperature splicing and wrapping. Some specific applications are over-wrap on motor rewinds, protective wrapping for wire and cables and hightemperature masking tape for welding stainless steel. CHR® 2915 and 2916 also perform as light duty plasma or flame spray masking tapes. |
