| Crelan VP LS 2256 is a blocked aliphatic polyisocyanate based on IPDI. It is suitable as a hardener for polyurethane powder coatings. Properties / Applications: Crelan VP LS 2256 is used to harden hydroxyl-bearing polyesters. An OH :NCO ratio of 1 is recommended to produce optimum film properties. Coatings based on Crelan VP LS 2256 are characterized by their excellent flow properties and high gloss. Depending on the suitability of the polyester chosen, excellent gloss retention and chalking resistance can be achieved on outdoor weathering. As Crelan VP LS 2256 has a positive anti-corrosion effect, this hardener is ideally suited for the formulation of powder coatings for outdoor application. As with any product, use of Crelan VP LS 2256 in a given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability.
