Dow Elite® 5400 Linear Low Density Polyethylene
Categories: Polymer; Film; Thermoplastic; Polyethylene (PE); Linear Low Density (LLDPE); Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE), Film Grade

Material Notes: ELITE® 5400 enhanced polyethylene resin is a copolymer produced via INSITE® technology from Dow Plastics. It offers extremely high impact resistance, combined with excellent tear, tensile, and optical properties for high strength blown film applications. In addition, ELITE 5400 resin offers a unique combination of low temperature seal initiation, higher modulus, and low blocking tendencies for automated packaging applications. It complies with U.S. FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1520 c 3.2 (a) when used unmodified and processed according to good manufacturing practices.
