Material Notes: Mica impregnated with silicone. A material with a high thermal continuous load above 250 °C combined with high compressive loads. Particular applications include use as fully fixed thermal insulation in presses and punching lines that are subject to high thermal loads. Other applications are in soldering plants, induction and arc furnaces, as well as in switchgear cabinet and apparatus construction.
