Solvay MTM® 28 series Epoxy Matrix Resin

Material Notes: Description: MTM28 series prepregs are based on 120°C(248°F) curing toughened, epoxy matrix resins that have been specifically developed for the manufacture of components requiring high damage tolerance.

Features & Benefits:

  • Versatile processing: autoclave, oven vacuum bag and press molding
  • 30 days out life at 21°C (70°F)
  • 12 months storage at -18°C(0°F)
  • 85 to 160°C (185 to 320°F) cure
  • Good tack and drape
  • Excellent impact resistance
  • Excellent adhesion to core materials
  • 80°C (176°F) end use temperature
