Precision Polymer Engineering S70H Silicone Rubber

Material Notes: White Silicone Rubber, 68-78 °IRHD. Silicone rubber having both methyl and vinyl substituent groups on the polymer chain. Formulated using only those ingredients determined by the United States Federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Water and n-Hexane extraction tested in accordance with Code of Federal Regulations Title 21 (CFR21), Section 177.2600. Formulated to BS2494 Type ‘W’ and Water Research Council (WRC) tested in accordance with BS6920 (WRC approval 9910521).‘Items which have passed full tests of effects on water quality’ (for use in potable water applications). Also complies with the requirements of USP 25, NF20, 2002, Class 6. ASTM & ISO designation = VMQ.

Applications: Excellent heat resistance and low temperature flexibility. Used primarily for dry heat static seals. Low physical strength and poor abrasion resistance prevents dynamic sealing.
