Material Notes: Coating Description: SHS 7214 GMAW is an iron based steel alloy with a near nanoscale (submicron) microstructure that features extreme impact and exceptional galling resistance with extremely high toughness and minimal cracking/crosschecking. SHS 7214 is an alternative to cobalt alloys.
