Material Notes:	Product Code: MSHQD -VA031-02a OT Chemical Name: Polymeric Sulfur Trade Name: Rubber Vulcanization Agent IS 60-33 CAS No.: Polymeric Sulfur: 9035-99-8; Rhombic Sulfur: 7704-34-9; High pressure and hydrotreated naphthenic oil: 64742-52-5 Typical Properties: Yellow powder with slight odor, non-toxic. IS 60-33 is not stable and can convert to soluble sulfur. IS 60-33 is insoluble in CS2 and in water. Recommended Applications: Because insoluble sulfur is metastable temperature should be kept as low as possible during mixing. Between 100-130? significant reversion can take place to soluble sulfur. Insoluble sulfur reversion can take place if it is in direct contact with alkaline components.
