Zircar Ceramics APA-1 Alumina Paper

Material Notes: ZIRCAR Alumina Papers are uniform structures made principally of alumina fiber. APA-1 is a strong, flexible material with fibers held together with organic binder that is available in roll or sheet form. Applications include thermal insulation in low mass furnaces and thermal process systems operating to 1650°C (3002°F) high temperature gaskets and seals, separator in multifoil vacuum furnace insulation systems, expansion joint insulation, backup thermal insulation in molten metal troughs, furnaces and thermal process systems operating to high temperatures, and parting agent and barrier layer in brazing, heat-treating and metal forming processes.
