Saint-Gobain Meldin® 6001 Polyimide
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyimide, Thermoplastic

Material Notes: Meldin® 6001 is a pseudo-thermoplastic grade of polyimide that is a lower cost alternative to grade 2001. The addition of aromatic raw materials to the polyimides base creates excellent high temperature performance. It has excellent resistance to high energy radiation and most chemicals. Not recommended for steam or hot water applications. Meldin retains many of its critical properties up to 600°F continuous and 900°F short term.
