Packaging made from this resin has excellent clarity and is noted for its dimensional stability, which prevents shrinkage and expansion of the container. It conforms to FDA Regulation 177.1630 for food contact and is widely used for single-serve beverage bottles, small liquor bottles, and other custom containers. Containers made from PET are light weight, have excellent clarity, are recyclable, and are shatterproof.
