Dow SE SLR-4630 Solution polymerized Styrene Butadiene Rubber (S-SBR)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Rubber or Thermoset Elastomer (TSE)

Material Notes: SE SLR-4630 is manufactured by anionic solution polymerization using lithium initiator and is extended with 37.5 parts of TDAE oil in relation to solid rubber. It is a product with medium styrene and high vinyl content. The product is partially Sn-coupled and non-staining stabilized. SE SLR-4630 is used in the tire industry for the manufacture of winter and all season applications. It can also be used for the manufacture of high-quality technical rubber articles. It is supplied in bales weighing 25 kg. Bales are wrapped in 50 micron PE film. At mixing temperatures above 110°C, the rubber can be processed with the packaging film.
