Chemours Viton® A-601C with 5 MT Black and 6 CaOH Fluoroelastomer Compound
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Fluoropolymer, TS; Thermoset Fluoroelastomer; Rubber or Thermoset Elastomer (TSE)

Material Notes:
  • Fully precompounded for O-ring curative level
  • Improved processing for a high viscosity polymer with improved mold flow, easier mold release, and less mold fouling
  • Excellent scorch safety
  • Excellent physical properties for improved compression set resistance

Applications

  • Compression molding of O-rings, gaskets, and other sealing devices
  • Applications where a higher polymer viscosity is needed for molding operations. Can be used to modify viscosity of other types of Viton®.
  • Can be formulated to meet FKM specifications Mil-R-83248C and AMS 7276E.

Chemours was formed from former DuPont performance chemicals businesses, including the Viton product line, in 2015.
