Material Notes: Description: Capran® Elastomax 1000 is a pink tinted, heat-stabilized blown film produced from modified nylon resin. It is available in widths up to 80 inches as layflat tubing and 120 inches as slit tubing. Thickness is 2.00 mils. In addition, it has excellent heat stability and resistance to pinholing. It can be used at temperatures up to 400°F (204°C) for typical composite cure cycle times.

Applications: Capran® Elastomax 1000 blown film is recommended as bagging film for advanced composite fabrication and other high temperature applications where softness, workability or anti-static characteristics are essential.
