DuPont 20 Series 2020 Specialty Polyethylene Resin  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyethylene (PE); Low Density (LDPE)

Material Notes: DuPont 2020T and 2020 specialty low density polyethylene resins are products characterized by low melt index and intermediate crystallinity. These products, produced via a unique polymerization process, have a well earned reputation for processability and outstanding flexibility and environmental stress crack resistance. DPE 2020T and 2020 are identical products with DPE 2020T passing a "tube defect" specification that is not required for DPE2020.

Typical Applications: Extruded squeeze tubes for personal care, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical applications; Tube shoulders providing headers for LDPE, HDPE and coextruded squeeze tubes; Low pressure water and air tubing; Rotational molding fittings; Molding of small bottles, caps, seals, etc. for medical, personal care and other applications.

Features & Benefits: Superior resistance to environmental stress cracking; High flexibility; Good heat stability; Excellent color; Odor free; Excellent chemical resistance; Tasteless; Nontoxic.

Each lot of DPE 2020T passes an internal tube imperfection specification.
