Angst+Pfister APSOplast® PPSU High-performance plastic
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyphenylsulfone (PPSU)

Material Notes: These PPSU semi-finished products offer better impact resistance and chemical resistance than PEI and PSU. PPSU also has excellent resistance to hydrolysis on the basis of the number of steam autoclave cycles before failure. This material has a practically unlimited superheated steam sterilizability. In addition, the raw material used to make PPSU semi-finished products meets the requirements of Class VI of the USP Standards and is thus a very popular material for the medical technology and pharmaceutical industries, for use in sterilization trays, handles of dental and surgical instructions, orthopedic test implants, and fluid technology couplings and fittings.
